New Shoes, New Journey

Writer's picture: Touching His HemTouching His Hem

On yesterday, I received a prophetic Word that God wanted to give me new shoes. The shoes were described is very high and beautiful. They were covered in jewels and precious stones. The prophetic person stated, “You are receiving these shoes because of your intentional time with Jesus and your obedience. Because of this it will be a time of elevation. New things are happening. Get ready for it.”

Guess what? God wants to give you new shoes as well. Are you ready to receive them? Or are you feeling stagnant?

Have you felt like your spiritual journey is in need of renewal? Just as worn-out shoes no longer provide the support and protection they once did, sometimes our spiritual walk needs a fresh start. God wants to give you new shoes—new strength, a new path, and a renewed sense of purpose.

In scripture, walking symbolizes our journey with God, our obedience, and our faith. When God calls us to something new, He equips us for the journey. This means leaving behind the old and stepping into the new with confidence.

“Forget the former things; do not dwell on the past. See, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs up; do you not perceive it? I am making a way in the wilderness and streams in the wasteland.” — Isaiah 43:18-19

Are you ready to step into the new season God has for you?

Are You Ready to Walk Forward?

Imagine yourself standing before God as He offers you a new pair of shoes—shoes designed specifically for your next season. They fit perfectly, designed for your unique calling. All you have to do is put them on and start walking.

• Are you willing to trust God’s direction, even if the path is unfamiliar?

• What spiritual “blisters” have you endured from holding onto things not meant for you?

• How can you intentionally step forward in faith today?

God’s new shoes are not just about change; they are about stepping into the fullness of His plan for your life.

1. Pray for Renewal – Ask God to reveal the areas in your life where He wants to bring newness.

2. Step Forward in Faith – Take one practical step in obedience, whether it’s letting go of a past hurt, embracing a new opportunity, or deepening your trust in God.

3. Encourage Others – Share your journey with someone who may also need the courage to step into their new shoes.

“How beautiful are the feet of those who bring good news!” — Romans 10:15

May your new shoes carry you into places of purpose, breakthrough, and divine encounters. Walk boldly, knowing that God has prepared every step ahead of you.
