Have you ever looked in the mirror and picked yourself apart, wishing you could change something about the way you look? Maybe you’ve thought, I wish my nose were smaller. I wish my smile were different. I wish I were taller, thinner, or stronger. But can I tell you something? God doesn’t make mistakes. He shaped you with His own hands, with love and intention, and when He finished, He looked at you and said, This is good.
Psalm 139:14 reminds us, “I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, I know that full well.” That includes you! You are God’s handiwork, His masterpiece (Ephesians 2:10). And yet, the enemy loves to creep in and make us doubt our worth. He wants to steal our identity, distort our confidence, and make us feel like we’re not enough. But here’s the truth: you are more than enough in Christ.
Maybe you feel like life is shaking, and you’re questioning who you are or why you’re here. But God has called you for such a time as this (Esther 4:14). When the enemy tries to flood your mind with lies, stand firm on what God says about you.
You are loved (Jeremiah 31:3). You are chosen (1 Peter 2:9). You are valuable (Matthew 10:31).
And let’s not forget—God didn’t just create you; He also equipped you. Everything you need to walk in your calling is already within you. But that doesn’t mean we stop growing. Sometimes we need to take a step back and ask, Am I taking care of what God has entrusted to me?
• Am I fueling my body with things that give me strength and energy?
• Am I setting aside time to be in God’s presence daily?
• Am I surrounding myself with people who encourage my faith?
If there are areas where you need to grow, don’t be discouraged—God is right there, ready to help you. “The Lord is my strength and my shield; my heart trusts in him, and he helps me” (Psalm 28:7). Bring it all before Him. He cares about your physical health, your spiritual well-being, your confidence—because you are His child.
So today, let’s silence the lies of the enemy and stand on truth. When doubt comes, declare, I am more than a conqueror through Christ (Romans 8:37). When you feel weak, remind yourself, Greater is He that is in me than he who is in the world (1 John 4:4). When insecurity rises, say, I am fearfully and wonderfully made!
God didn’t create junk—He created you, a daughter of the King, crowned with glory and purpose. Walk in that truth today. Hold your head high, knowing that you are exactly who God designed you to be.
